Was just listening to Colors today and realized YB played some 1990s Detroit Pistons’ type of defense against the Industry on that album. No skips. It aged beautifully looking back.

I’ll always love how he didn’t turn his back on Quando and let him talk his shit on Gangsta. I feel like this album was special in the sense that most people would have folded due to being outnumbered but he stood his ground and kept putting out music despite his circumstances and that’s why none of these rappers can ever do what he’s done.
