OPT application under premium processing

Hi everyone, looking for recent timelines from anyone in a similar situation.

• Type: Initial POST-COMPLETION OPT
• Premium Processing: YES
• Date Applied / Premium Processing Received: 07/23/2026
• Request for Initial Evidence (RFIE): NO
• Biometrics Requested: No notice/appointment date yet
• Biometrics Completed: Pending
• Notice of Intent to Deny (NOID): NO
• Date Approved: Pending
• Date Card Produced: Pending
• Date Card Received: Pending

I called USCIS today, 08/12, and the agent told me that biometrics are required for my case and that they are currently working on scheduling the appointment. However, they could not tell me when the biometrics notice will be issued or when the appointment will be.

My case has shown premium processing since 07/23 and I haven't received any other update yet, including a biometrics notice.

I have a job offer with a start date of September 3, so I'm getting concerned about the timeline.

For anyone who recently went through Initial OPT with premium processing and biometrics:

1. How long after filing/premium processing did you receive your biometrics notice?
2. How far out was the actual biometrics appointment?
3. After completing biometrics, how long did it take to get approved?
4. How long after approval did you receive the physical EAD?
5. Has anyone with a late-July premium processing date already received their biometrics notice or approval?

Also, would uploading my offer letter as unsolicited evidence help at all with the processing timeline? My offer/employment documents are subject to an NDA, so I'm hesitant to upload anything that isn't actually required.
