I made a voice-first creative notes app because my voice memos kept turning into a dead archive

Showcase: Prerelease

I’m working on Tapestry, an iPhone app for capturing creative thinking before it becomes polished enough for a doc, outline, or task list.

The problem: I often think better by talking, but normal voice memos are awkward to revisit. They capture the thought, then bury the useful part inside a long recording.

What Tapestry does:

Record a natural spoken session about a project.

Turn it into a transcript.

Pull out useful pieces like connections, constraints, open questions, techniques, and next steps.

The product is aimed at artists, writers, designers, makers, and anyone who has messy ideas before they have clean notes.

I’d love feedback on the core behavior and positioning. Does “talk first, process later” feel like something you would use, or does it sound like another notes app with a different input method?
