Senior course load dropped due to “non-payment” on Aug 7 - what can i do?

Hello everyone,

As the title says, my schedule for fall 2026 was dropped due to my F*FSA taking a long time in processing. It has since been processed and confirmed by SFMS. I tried to ask SFMS and ERS about the reinstatement petition to no avail and was directed by them to reach out to the HOD and/or professors regarding getting me back into the classes or a “course override”. As you may imagine, all senior classes are entirely full by now and i’ve ended up in a truly precarious position forcing me to contemplate things i’ve never had to before. I’ve emailed the HOD and professors as passionate a plea i could make explaining everything, but the HOD is out of office till Aug 17, and i am yet to hear back from the professors. It is all turning out to be truly depressing.

I am a senior CIS major. I’ve taken schooling at GSU nothing if not seriously and seeing my graduation plans in jeopardy is knocking me off balance. Is there anything I can do?
