Overplayed songs in movies

I HATE "you make my dreams come true" with a PASSION. you just know it's going to be a montage of a divorced dad making breakfast for his kids, dancing and vacuuming.

There's also this trend in recent years of horror movies playing happy music in gore montages, I know it's been done since the 70s, but everyone is doing it now, it's not edgy anymore. It was cool when midsommar did it, it was original and creepy. Now it's overdone, cliché, and annoying.
