The BR report is broken and Scottie knows it.
First, this is a spoiler of the BR report in Portland, so don’t go on if you want to be surprised.
As I said, the BR report is broken! A grave injustice has been done to the prestigious folks of Portland. Here’s what happened….
There is [redacted] balconies at Revolution Hall in Portland where CBB played last night. There was TWO separate and distinct shows last night. It was determined by a shadowy committee of sorts that only the first show balcony count would go towards the total. The second show was given a zero for Balcony count. Now I won’t say how many there were, but I can say that erasing the existence of the good folks who were sitting in said Balcony(ies?) is beyond insensitive. It’s shocking to say the least.
Besides that, I would argue that the average is balconies per show, NOT per venue. It’s absurd. Scottie admits it! He said the only reason to do the BR is because balconies exist and they only exist because there just wasn’t enough space on the ground level to fit everyone! It’s about the people! And yet they want to disregard those people JUST because they were at the late show? What, we’re all just too drunk to notice this abuse? Is that what they think?
I’m Calling Scott David Aukerman and probably Paul Francis Tompkins (this smacks of PFT meddling) to stop the erasure of the balcony people of portland AND issue an apology. And be sincere about it.
