ubuntu and pointer problems

I did a dual boot with windows and ubuntu and expanded ubuntu but its encrypted with luks and pointer can’t find it. If i switch them in the boot order can i remove ubuntu, clear the files and install it again or is there other stuff that gives problems? i might aswell try again with boot-repair
