When you see a forked road, don't gamble

I love to listen to ghost stories especially those told by "real" people and not some kids making up stories to get some likes. One of the better way of getting real ghost stories is from the forum that some random passers-by just drop their real experience so there is no benefits from lying, you cant even thumbs up his post as it is not his thread.

This story is what stands out from the rest that i listen because it might save my life one day lol:

so this person is a truck driver in China who is used to drive long distance at night so it is normal for them to sleep in the truck at night. One night as usual, he was driving his truck to another city so on the way, he has to pass by a very remote area with a lot of mountains and hills and forest. And then he was taken aback to see there is a forked road in front of him. He has been driving the same way for many times and he is 100% sure, there is no forked road or junction in this way. And the road is on a mountain, so if that is a fake road, he will drive to the abyss.

Instead of gambling on which one is the right path, he decided to take a nap in his truck. When he wakes up, the road becomes one way again. He remarks: "if i made a choice that night, i might not be able to tell you guys this story now."

and also on this reddit, i read another person sharing a similar experience here that he saw a junction which is not supposed to be there. So in short, we must be careful when driving and when you are not sure of the path ahead, just pull over instead of guessing haha.
