I did a reconciliation spread for an ex/situationship out of boredom yesterday and I pulled out these. On the right is the spread I used. For context, we dated for 3 months, had a brief but very intense relationship and he broke up with me because he "wasn't ready," blamed his avoidance, etc. During the time we did date he was incredibly caring and supported me through a rough period, and genuinely just treated me really well so the breakup truly did come out of *nowhere*. To me he does genuinely seem like an avoidant type because the moment things got serious, he dipped.
Anyway, we haven't been in contact since, which is cca 8 months. I still can't truly let him go for some reason and think of him occasionally, so every few months I do some sort of spread.

As for my interpretation, the 7 of Wands to me represents his emotional avoidance/self defense, maybe even "fighting me off" in a sense that he doesn't want to let me close. Which closely ties to the second card, Queen of Cups, as how he feels about me and the entire situation. I think he felt too much, or like *I* was too much, hence the 7 of Wands - pushing me away, standing his ground and wanting to be left alone. I think the Queen represents, in his case, overwhelm and too many emotions?

The 6 of Wands, as for chance of reconciliation, is where I'm thrown off. I've done readings for him before and they haven't been too positive, so a "victory" card showing up in this position is weird to me, but I'm not sure how else to interpret it, especially in context with other cards. Maybe I'm naive, but I see it as a positive card here. The only "bad" thing I see associated with this card is inflated ego, but I'm not sure how it would relate here. Maybe a reconciliation would feed his ego?

And finally, the god damn 2 of Cups as a course of action. I'm kinda lost on this one, especially in relation to 6 of Wands. My intuition says I should probably reach out and express my feelings, but I'm truly not sure.

Any other interpretations or insights are very very welcome, I'm pretty new to tarot so my interpretation may be very biased and surface level but I would love to learn more! :)

Reconciliation spread! What to make of this??
