Would you go in for an extra Doppler check?

I'm 13 weeks pregnant today and had my last ultrasound at 11 weeks and baby girl had a strong heartbeat. I still have so much anxiety and asked my doctor for a Doppler check before my next appointment in 2 weeks. I mostly wanted it because I'm super anxious that we will take our announcement photos (scheduled already)l before next appointment) and then we will go and there will be bad news. However, the only availability she had is on the same day of Meet the Teacher. I already took the appointment but am now rethinking.

Should I still go in for the check? I keep thinking what if something is wrong and I find out and have to go to Meet the Teacher that night and then start first day of school, etc.
