What made you keep or delete a health app?
We build a health app, so we'll say that up front rather than pretend otherwise. We're not going to name it or link it here — we're asking because we keep hearing the same frustrations second-hand, and we'd rather hear them straight from people who actually live with this.
If you're managing anything ongoing — a chronic condition, a stack of medications, appointments, symptoms you're trying to keep track of:
- Do you actually use an app for any of it? Or did you try a few and quietly stop?
- If you stopped: what made you stop? Too much logging for too little back? It nagged you? It became another thing to maintain?
- What's the part that's genuinely hard — the remembering, the admin, explaining your whole history again to a new doctor, getting a symptom taken seriously, something else?
- If you could hand a doctor one thing at the start of an appointment, what would it be?
- And the honest one: is there anything software can actually help with here, or is this a problem apps just don't fix?
