I missed the clearing application deadline. Do I still have a chance to make it into uni through clearing?

The applications on UCAS ended at 6pm today and only after a long conversation with my coworker at work I decided to just go to university but applications are closed from 6pm today until 8am tomorrow when clearing starts. I desperately need to go university but I don’t have a ucas personal ID since I haven’t submitted the application yet. I know applications open again tomorrow at 8am but im worried i dont know if I should call the university clearing hotline first (im applying to city uni(bayes)) or if i should submit the application first and then call or what steps I should take.

I know it was stupid to miss the deadline when I had all this time but it was a last minute decision and what’s done is done so I really would appreciate advice on what I should to tomorrow since i desperately need to go to uni this year and specifically to city. Has anybody gone through this before?
