Does the new Codex/ChatGPT Linux app support image generation?

Hi everyone,

I just installed the new ChatGPT/Codex desktop app for Linux released yesterday.

I know the Codex app has an image generation skill powered by GPT Image, which can generate and edit images for websites, UI mockups, game assets, etc.

But I’m wondering: is image generation actually available in the new Linux desktop app, specifically when using Codex?

For example, can I simply ask Codex:

“Generate an image of a futuristic dashboard and save it to my project.”

and have it generate the image and use it in the project?

Or is the image generation skill currently only available on macOS/Windows?

Would appreciate if anyone using the Linux version could confirm. Thanks!
