Underrated part of solo travel

People always talk about the freedom of solo travel but I think the underrated part is how much more observant you become

When you are alone you can see things that you might not see otherwise – the way a local market works, little cafés, conversations going on around you, random looking streets that look interesting and even the way that people interact with each other.

Traveling alone also makes you learn to trust your own decisions. There is no one else to ask where to eat, which bus to take, or if you should explore one more street. You simply decide and move on.Over time, that confidence spills into everyday life as well. You become more comfortable being independent, working out unexpected problems, and enjoying your own company.

For people who travel solo, what was the biggest thing you learned about yourself?
