Expert Interview Process Madness

Can anyone else tell me their experience going for the expert interview? I just got my feedback call for expert interview and I didn’t move forward. This is the 5th time I applied to expert and I’m just frustrated. I do great work on the floor and am told always that I should go for expert and yet I never get the role. I know how to articulate myself but for some reason I just can’t get past phase 1. I get the feedback and I apply it to my stories in SAR(Situation,Action,Result) format and it’s just always something they want to hear about that I just always miss. I’m considering looking elsewhere for work because with my strong work ethic and great customer service skills I know I could do great things. With the 4 years I’ve been with Apple I know I would have moved up somewhere else.
