Unable to log into my account.

Launched steam after a long time and was logged out. Tried logging in with the CORRECT credentials (about 90% sure it was the right password), but still wasnt able to.
tried recovering my account through email but didnt recieve one, neither did i recieve any code from the support page for email verification.
Is there any way out of this? What do i do?
