When saving layers, is there a way to make it so it crops the image instead of exporting the entire canvas with it?

I have used Procreate to make batches of really small icons on one huge canvas, and I have always had to manually crop every individual one because when exporting separate layers, it doesn't actually *just* export the contents of the layer: it exports that layer with negative space the size of my whole canvas. Is there a way to make it automatically crop the layers like how they're presented in layer previews? If you need me to elaborate on anything please comment. Thank you
