Comes home for a foam jet cleaning service. We let him do his job and then he checks for gas using a clamp meter.

The meter shows - gas is low

We had no issues in cooling, this was just a precautionary cleanup/service.

LG AC - 1.5 ton bought in Feb 2025. Less than 2 years and it has a gas leak now?

I got suspicious and did an immediate ChatGPT - and GPT said - well functioning units don’t need a gas change unless it’s 10 years. Boom exposed !

Use TAPO plugs and monitor the cooling. Don’t trust UC technicians blindly at all!
