Starting to rethink our SEO

We've been doing SEO the same way for a while and nothing really looked wrong. Traffic was steady a few pages were ranking where we wanted them so I didn't think much about it. Then I started paying attention to how often we showed up in AI answers and it got quiet pretty fast some topics where I thought we had pretty strong content we just weren't showing up at all.

At first I figured maybe I was reading too much into it so I started checking it more regularly and a few weeks ago I added Ploy into what I was using to keep track of the GEO side and started noticing the same gaps over and over. I still don't know if GEO needs to become this whole separate strategy but it's kind of weird seeing the SEO numbers look fine while another part of search tells a completely different story
