Whistler/squamish tire choice

Going out west for the first time and I'm not too sure what set of tires I should run while I'm out there my new dh bike came with maxxis high roller 3s on it and they have plenty of grip but aren't the fastest rolling tire I also have a set of continental kryptonals with dh casing I've been debating on putting on to use instead can any west coast riders help me choose what set of tires to bring out there on my trip ?
