Book recommendations

So my main issue right now is that I’m sick and tired of the fast pace stories or super strong MC when they just got their powers or in a new world and just learning what to do. Like an example is that I cannot listen/read Dante King series anymore. So much happens within a short period of time that it takes the appeal away to me. As well as all of the MCs just learning or got brand new powers or brought to a different world. And they take to it like fish in water. I want a slow burn series where the MC has to struggle and take their time to learn how to become the badass he’s meant to be. Series I can think that are like this are “Rise of the weakest summoner” by J. R. Saileri. “Athers Revival” by Daniel Schinhofen. Majority of Bruce Sentars series. Except “Ards Oath” that one is my least favorite series from him. But just wanting a slow burn series that the MC has to struggle or just take their time learning how to adapt to the world or their powers.
