What fantasy creatures do you think are overused and what fantasy creatures would you like to see more of instead?

I keep seeking no your run of the mill “demon race” all over the place. Almost every fantasy story I’ve read has some kind of demon race that is just people with horns or deformed monsters. It’s just getting old imo. I’d love to see more obscure races get a bit more limelight like Nagas, Kenku, Bugbears, Tortle, Gith, Tengu, Loxodons. Okay I know I’m heavily biased towards animal based races but you get where I’m coming from.
