I’m finally getting up to speed on the latest season. I’m in the middle of watching Season 17 episode 8. Why is Shamea choosing to film alone/with friends at her doctor’s offices?

When the surrogacy liaison(and former surrogate) asked her about why her husband hasn’t come in sometime she said it was because he doesn’t want to film.. Why wouldn’t she just do that with him off camera?? I mean it seemed pointless to film it. Everything mentioned in the office was already mentioned in prior episodes and her confessionals. Is this just them locking Shamea and Kelli’s friendship? It just seems very forced. This is my first time watching RHOA. So if I’m missing something please let me know 🙏
