Very strong Exp down Tyranitar vs a great ABB Charizard for ginger

Discussion 📢

I have an AAA, exp down / energy up Larvitar with HSS (seedable to HSM), IFM and IFS for its first 3 sub skills. It will produce 132 ginger at level 60 even without the sub seed (and 101 at 50) although seems basically impossible to get there tbh. I only have enough candy to send it to level 38 without minting, and it doesn’t even evolve to Ttar until 41. I do have 2 mints left but obviously tough to let one go here.

My other candidate is an ABB charmander with IFS, IFM, and sleep exp bonus for its first 3 sub skills, naughty nature (speed up / skill down). I have enough candy to send it to 50+ right away. It will produce 57 ginger at level 50 and 101 at level 60 (along with 18 sausages that will be useful for the new curry udon dish). I should note that I don’t have a current ginger Pokémon but as no other top 3 dish requires ginger, really just want this for the curry udon. I understand 101 isn’t enough to make it 3 times a day, which is fine (although gets more or less there with GCT).

What would you do here? I’m leaning towards the Charizard as it will be significantly easier to actually raise, and with high usefulness immediately. I already have an AAA IFM Agron in progress for sausages (though only level 38 at the moment) so unlikely to raise another Charizard. On paper the Ttar with a subseed and level 60 is insane at 140 ginger per day, but it’s going to be worse for the next 2 years I think and a massive resource sink of nap island / candy that I have other uses for. For context I am relatively late stage (maxed out the avocado gratin level, should be able to M20 amber canyon this week with GCT etc).
