[Question] I've been tracking which Rolex references clear fastest on the secondary market. The gap between fast and slow is bigger than I expected.

Discussion

Been building a dataset of listing state transitions across the secondary market, tracking when listings sell & at what price. Some references clear in under 3 weeks consistently. Others sit for 4+ months before moving despite being "supposedly popular" and a decent price.

Questions for dealers: Do you pay for any subscriptions or data tools for the business? (not Chrono24 or eBay, but anything you actually pay for). What else are you trying to figure out before you decide to buy a watch? And is there anything in that current process you can't easily look up?

Not pitching anything. I just don't want to build something that solves a problem dealers don't actually have.

if you're an active dealer, I'd love 5 minutes. either leave a comment, DM me, or jump on a quick interview here, i'd be happy to share the data & what I've learned too
