Built an iPhone app for turning messy voice thoughts into creative next steps
I’m working on Tapestry, an iPhone app for people who capture creative ideas by talking before they write. The problem it solves: voice memos are easy to make, but hard to use later. A good idea can be buried inside ten minutes of rambling. Tapestry records a natural thinking session, transcribes it, and surfaces the parts worth revisiting: connections, constraints, questions, techniques, and next steps. The audience I’m testing is writers, artists, designers, makers, and people who do creative planning before anything is polished. I’d love feedback on two things: Does the value proposition make sense from the App Store page? Would you expect this to be a daily capture habit, or more of a tool for specific creative blocks?
