For context, I started playing Marvel Rivals around Season 1.5, And while I usually Main Dr. Strange (Im a venom main in spirit), When I did get the opportunity to play duelist I usually went with Storm (Or Mr. Fantastic but this ain’t about him), I can’t exactly remember when I decided to drop Marvel Rivals, but I think it was somewhere when Season 4 started when my burnout of constantly solo tanking and being put into bot matches after losing hit its peak.

(By the way, is the latter still a problem in the game? Not playing this shit anytime soon but I figured I’d ask.)

I didn’t really interact with the game much after that, but I was still somewhat active in the Subreddits and keeping up with what heroes got added in. Fittingly enough, I found out about this sub after Devil Dinosaur got added but not alongside moon girl. It’s become increasingly apparent that NetEase treat the Black characters in this game like they’re C-Listers at best when that’s far from the case (Also isn’t storm one of the most Popular X-Men on top of that??).

But the way storm got treated in today’s skin drop was the final nail in the coffin for me, Giving her an Epic when everyone else (except squirrel girl to my knowledge) got Legendaries, And it’s the most basic one out of all of them on top of that. Looking through some of the comments on other posts, they very clearly could’ve gone through plenty of comics that shes in to give her a good swimsuit skin if they actually cared to do *more than the bare fucking minimum.*

*(If there’s anything I missed about any of this, please let me know.)*

I’m starting to think I made the right call dropping this game for good during season 3/4
