walmart interview

I live in Canada and I have been looking for a job for a year now, after applying to walmart 25 times and being rejected I called the store manager and earned an interview. During the interview I was told that the position requires you to be 18+ (overnight position) I told then I am turning 18 in less than a month. They discussed how I could still turn 18 with all the orientation process and everything. The girl who interviewed me said “are you open to other positions if not this one? we would love to hire you” idk if this was formality that they say to everyone. Should I expect something or should I be concerned? What should my next steps be to score a job (possibly at walmart)
