i’ve had a pretty terrible experience with HRT

I am a super brick. Not BDD style. Not larping.

I used to be hypersexual. It made me a castrated asexual.

At some point in year 2, I did two shots in one week because I messed up the first shot. It made emotionally insane. Bobbing like a sea buoy in and out of an Ophelian crying mania for no reason. Lasted months until I skipped my shot for 3 weeks. Things then reset.

For the first two years I couldn’t get my levels above 200. I then didn’t get tested for a year. When I finally did, my levels were 1400.

Doctor switched me from injections to patches. The patches didn’t work. My estrogen levels plummeting caused me to develop laryngopharengeal reflux which is an extreme form of acid reflux. My throat closed up making it difficult to breathe. I decided on my own to go back on injections. This fixed the worst of the problem, but i still have the problem come up occasionally.

I messed up my shot 3 weeks ago because the needle came off the syringe while it was in my leg. For some reason that I have not figured out, I am still having extreme sleeping issues from this, and my hands are still getting pins and needles sensation every day.
