Post-Surgery Medication

Hello all,

I am getting a hysterectomy next month, and I've recently fallen down the medication rabbit hole. I have found OTC pain relievers and stool softeners that are vegan, but I'm worried about prescription opioids and anti-nausea medication.

I asked my surgical team to tell me what they'll be prescribing ahead of time so I can call around to pharmacies to see if their formulations are vegan, but I was thinking, if anywhere knew the easiest way to figure all this out, it'd be r/vegan.

What is the best way to go about finding vegan prescriptions?
