You all had it coming.
I'm going to be blunt, it's absolutely hilarious watching so many people act surprised at the current events. So many people here were acting as if we were going back to Wings of Liberty, as if the game would turn into slow whimsical game of pure thinking, stop being mechanics heavy, and somehow relive the glory days of huge tournaments and billions of players.
Everything happening right now is the same bullshit cycle that people who actually play the game said would happen.
-Balance completely broken? Check
-Blizzard dropping a game breaking patch and then disappearing without saying a word? Check
-Devs don't know their own game and buff / nerf whatever the fuck they feel like? Check.
-Game is just as fast and spamming bases? Check
-No actual increase in 'strategy'? Check
-Players quitting in droves? Check
-Intern had to make a million different changes to compensate for the worker change, and fucked it all up? Because nobody who knows about RTS works at Blizzard anymore? Check.
-GM ladder still full of drop hackers? Check
-Will anything be done about it? No. Check
-Zero circuit and dead pro scene? Check
What are we missing? What will the future hold for SC2? Let me tell you:
-Balance will never be fixed, the patches's garbage foundation has just torn funamentals apart for every race, and the intern is too full of himself to revert the patch.
-Protoss will continue to be a terran-lite, unfun race that no longer matches the fantasy of the LOTV cinematic.
-Zero communication from blizzard for the next eternity
-Blizzard will stay corrupt and continue to neglect SC2
You finally had enough of this shit? Go to the gaming media, news articles, whatever. Fight back. They only cared about the arcade bug when it was brought to the front page of reddit. Go tweet at blizzard cs, and all the CEOs and employees.
I'm glad I jumped ship after the first PTR went live, because I never had faith anything will be done. I hope I'm wrong, because this is still a great, dear game. Downvote me all you want, I know the truth can hurt.
