Applying next month

I have 5400 non union work hours, trade school cert, OSHA 10 and I made a pretty good impression on the business manager and organizer at our meet, so much so that the manager expects me to make it in on my first go around.

I’m feeling hopeful about this and the business manager really hyped my head. I’m 28 with a wife and new baby and the pay cut will set me back a bit but I know it’ll pay dividends in the future.

The purpose of this post is two fold, I’d like someone who’s been in this same boat to let me know what to expect going from nonunion to union work AND my excitement is overflowing and I just wanted to share this news. Looking forward to be apart of the brotherhood.
