Would you race a Grizzly Bear for money?

A rich man offers you a deal: you have to race a blood-thirsty and hungry Grizzly-Bear to an exit. The Bear starts at exactly 100 meters away from the exit, while you can choose the distance that you start away. For every meter you choose, you get 1'000$.

For example, if you start at 25 meters, you get 25'000$. The catch is, if the bear catches up to you, the exit automaticly closes and you are trapped inside. There will be an official starting light that will give both you and the bear permission to start running (the bear will follow this rule as well).
