I had to cancel a trip I was really excited about for the week of August 17th. I need ideas for what I can do for a replacement vacation.

I had gotten a sleeper car on Amtrak to go up the west coast with my eight year-old. The warehouse fire somewhere in Oregon made it so that the train is canceled. I’m pretty heartbroken because sleeper car train adventure was my dream.
I canceled my flight, but I didn’t get my money back. I just have flight credits (delta and jetblue). I did get a full refund on the train.
So I don’t really have a ton of money because it’s all in flight credits. Im in Boston, MA.
I’m looking for ideas that I can pull off last minute and maybe use flight credits? Or something or someplace to go that would be cool to see. I have five-ish days. I have a car but I don’t think my kid would be super excited about a long hours in the car, so probably not a road trip.
