Turned Away from Lansdowne Park

I was wandering around the Glebe on Sunday, and as I passed the big stairs to the TD Centre near the big sign, I thought I'd go up the stairs to see if there was anything interesting. It turns out there was an event, and as I walked up, intending to take the shortcut to the left to the main part, a security guard came running up to me, asking if he could help me. I said no, just walking. He was pretty irate and told me I had to turn around and leave. There were a few of them there, being, I think, very rude and accosting everyone.

I asked why and he said it was "private property". I asked, "Even here?". Yup.

So there goes our park, we are no longer allowed up those stairs. Not even to go around. Totally sold out to the rich sport barons. Thanks Mark.

I was very insulted, and I could see others were too. I will NEVER go there again.
