High risk pregnancy

I know this has been talked about before, but Pepper made a post today that she’s now 10 weeks 5 days pregnant- and one week away from her first appointment with a high risk doctor.

I just find it so incredibly strange that she hasn’t been to the doctor yet if she’s so high risk. Especially considering she would’ve found out at like..4-5 weeks. Being that high risk, doctors would want her in immediately. The fact that she announced it to the world before then is wild too, considering her miscarriage history. In November I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks, and I’m not high risk.

Also how would she even know it’s a viable pregnancy without an ultrasound? I’m currently 12 weeks pregnant to the day, and have been to the doctor 3 times already. I even got a call today with test results telling me the gender! Monday I’m going in for my SECOND ultrasound this pregnancy..and I’m barely further along than her!
