fixed my cat's post-litter box sprinting by changing one setting

my cat used to do this annoying sprint across the apartment every time he finished using the litter box. full speed, kicking loose litter everywhere. thought it was just post-poop freedom or something (I can relate) but then I noticed he only did it when the automatic cycle started right after he stepped out.

so I ended up checking online if anyone else had issues with the sensor timer on our self cleaning litter box. turns out the default delay was set way too short, so the rake started moving while he was still right next to it. I now bumped the delay timer from 2 minutes to 10 so it waits until he leaves the room.

problem solved! no more random sprinting. hope this helps someone here
