My ex called me to tell me he is going to have a baby

My ex broke up with me three years ago and got engaged and married to the girl he told me not to worry about. Last summer, in 2025, he unexpectedly showed up at my workplace to say hello and check on me. He would always disappear and stay quiet for a few months before returning to check in. Last night, I received a call from an unknown number and answered it. It was him, saying he wanted to check on me and had something important to tell me. He revealed that he was going to be a father. I was speechless, only able to say congratulations and that we shouldn’t be talking.

Honestly, I feel terrible. He ruined my night, and even though it’s been a while since we broke up, it feels like I can’t move on and I’m stuck. My heart still wants him, despite everything he did to me, but my mind knows I should move on. His constant show-ups don’t help either. I’ve tried multiple times not to stay in touch, but he always comes back.
