Getting zero replies for housing

Hi everyone,

I’m moving to Munich this October to start my Master’s degree. I’ve been actively looking for an apartment for about two weeks now.

I mainly use ImmoScout24 (with a Premium account), Immowelt, and I’ve applied to various private student dorms. My ImmoScout application portfolio is completely filled out (SCHUFA, proof of income, ID, etc.). I also make sure to keep my application messages personal, concise, and friendly so landlords get a good impression of me as a person.

Despite this, I have received absolutely zero replies or feedback so far. I know the Munich housing market is brutal and highly competitive, especially right before the winter semester, but getting no response at all is a bit disappointed.

Do you have any advice or insider tips on how to adapt my strategy? Are there other platforms, or local hacks I should try?
