Resound Smart3D and Direct Audio Streaming with the Resound Vivia 60S

I have some Resound hearing aids with my Android Pixel 10. I see an option in the 3D App that says they now support direct audio streaming and to enable this I need to unpair via the Android Bluetooth controls then come back to the app.

Before I do this, I wonder if the direct audio streaming works with phone, spotifiy etc. on the phone? How is the direct audio streaming in comparison with the Android bluetooth?
