Please help

I discovered a mod to reclaim/break a paladins oath at will. It is required to download bg3 midmanager and script extender. Although the mod itself is downloadable through nexus mods, I still downloaded those through github desktop. I believe i did everything right so far. Then i downloaded the mod through nexus as you do. The mod however does not work. Did i forget or do not know something? Could it be bc i downloaded it to the middle of an existing run/campaign in bg3? Thx guys :)
