New job— supervisor with terrible personality

I just started a new position three weeks ago and have heard the WORST things about my supervisor. I heard that she curses people out, bullies people, and overall is just spicy. She even admitted to me that she is that way. First sign of her ways was during my interview where she literally argued with our supervisor (who I heard was also hard to get along with) to work with me. They literally gave me an ultimatum on who I wanted to work with while interviewing. This job pays me super well so I don’t care about none of this shit, but how do I navigate staying on their good side? I don’t mind conceding to people who go on power trips, but I still want respect.
