Eclipse

A moment, to view it's majesty

Simultaneously breathtakingly, earth shatteringly, awe inspiringly, beautiful. And also... Nothing

Shaped like a moon, but briefer. A not quite once in a lifetime, Darkness not unlike a sunset, Dull through the lenses with which it could be seen

But still it amazes. The mere concept:

The clockwork movement of planets around a star perfectly aligning to produce an event of wonder.

The sheer magnitude of distances on which these celestial bodies moved with grace and speed to give us a show in minutes.

A testimony to how despite what ever happens the sun and moon will continue to form the infinite combinations of positions in our skies never repeating once till the end of time. No matter what happens they will endure and you will always be able to look up and say I saw this once in eternity combination.

The eclipse, Both incredible and not

A testimony to the true trial and error of the universe, those graceful gods forever trying, and trying again
