Okay, what is ACTUALLY the best cordless drill (rant/discussion)??

Hey guys, been reading this sub for a couple weeks and every drill thread turns into a battery platform argument, so here I am adding one more.

My old brushed drill died halfway through hanging a gate last weekend. Apparently the first kit you buy decides what you own for the next ten years. Right now im looking at dewalt 20v, milwaukee m18, and ryobi one+. Im a homeowner, not a pro. Deck screws, drywall anchors, the occasional lag bolt into a fence post. Budget is around $200 for a kit with two batteries, and I dont need an impact driver in the box, I already have one.

Part of me thinks I'd just be paying $80 extra for a logo on a tool that lives in a drawer. So what are you guys actually running day to day, and can you FEEL the jump from ryobi on homeowner stuff? Is brushless worth it at this level?
