I posted on here before asking for advice about me and my ex potentially getting back together so thought I’d update 😭

Basically I brought the whole sexual history thing up myself because I didn’t want us to get back together and then it becomes a problem later. I told him I may or may not have done anything sexual while we were broken up, but regardless I wasn’t going to disclose what I did or didn’t do because that’s a boundary I’ve decided to have. My ex had retroactive jealousy at one point and it changed my whole view on sharing previous sexual history.

He basically said he’d be okay if I’d only given someone head but if I’d actually had sex then he wouldn’t be able to get past it 😭 but I was like… the whole point of my boundary is that you don’t get that information either way.

Even if I hadn’t had sex, I still wouldn’t confirm that because then the boundary means nothing lol.
He said he understood and we left it there, but he hasn’t messaged me in days now which is VERY unlike him so yeah I think we’re done 💀

Obviously it’s sad but I’m actually glad I brought it up before we got back together because imagine doing all of this months later?? I think he needs to know what happened to decide if he’s comfortable being with me and I need him to be okay with not knowing, so realistically there isn’t really a compromise there. We were together for almost 4 years (18-22) and was in constant contact for 10 months until last week.

But it’s weird I’m sad, but also relieved? Like he had amazing qualities but there were things he did that kind of made me lose respect over time. I also haven’t been properly single since 18 and I’m 23 now, so I’m excited to date knowing roughly what I want.

Update: yeah me and my ex are done lol
