59 years ago today five Turkish Cypriots were killed as part of an organized deployment of mines and explosive devices in Turkish majority areas

Among the 5 dead on this day two were youths and two were children. This was part of a larger chain of attacks that commenced the same years were such explosive devices were used to attack Turkish settlements.
