FB Marketplace Agreement / Ghosted. Orange County, CA

Location: Orange County, CA

I’m selling speaker equipment on Facebook for $300. A potential buyer counter offered at $150, but I countered at $450. He surprisingly counter offered at $600 and I accepted.

I asked him when he would like to meet and he gave me a time and also asked for the location.

Because it sounded too good to be true, I reiterated and thanked him for agreeing to purchase the unit at $600. He thumbs-up’d my message.

Lo and behold, he didn’t show up on the agreed upon time and location.

Do I have any legal recourse for breach of contract? And legally require him to purchase the equipment at $600?
