Hey, can I get fired for attempting a transfer
I don't trust the world, so as vague as possible: Look everybody's leaving my store and I'm leaving too, why? because there was this one dude who was full of shit that was a department supervisor, we worked there the same amount of time in total, around the same age, late 20s, that didn't matter, there's others my age I totally respect, but this guy quit, or resigned like I did, I'm hearing for the same reason, they even gave him an apron I signed it, he was just a little snobby.
Not the problem.
Like I said this also doesn't matter but I work hard the role I'm given may not be transferrable skills I do a lot of heavy lifting but- I love it all the same. I'm on a FINAL because I'm coming in a few minutes tardy. I understood, fixed that, now it's Wednesday 1 month later from my final. I asked the gm on Monday can I leave 30 mins early I'll take a 30 min lunch instead of 1 hour, she said ask the MOD the MOD said "yeah sure" I still had an 8 hour shift. long story short-- DEMANDED 30 minutes from my sick time or I'm terminated and told me not to ask next time if I'm not ready to give up any sick time. Even if it's 8 hours. that's the ultimatum, when I left the office I started applying to other stores IMMEDIATELY. if they find out can they terminate me? That's all I'm asking.
Note: I started YOUNG I love anybody who does but- between me and my manager he's hiring 18 year olds for my job I work just as hard and think this is a sport in fact we find ourselves with nothing to do most of the time. And I say "try to keep moving" I've trained 2 people, 1 quit, but is that really a tactic that you think this guy is trying to pull on me? Its sort of half assed like I'm imagining him doing this for a good reason now.
