How do I get my character to actually abide to their character chat examples?

Basically, my character’s chat examples include text examples that are sometimes monotone, and then sometimes expressive (uses exclamation marks!) and emotional. However, the bot rarely shows that much emotions, and is mostly boring and stuff. How do I fix this? Sorry for bothering.
