Stopping topical minoxidil while trying for a baby

Hello,

My wife and I (31M) are going to try for a baby soon. I have used topical minoxidil 5% for about 3 years and stopped in April this year on my own.

I want to understand if there are any studies that suggest topical minoxidil has any negative effects on the baby. I would like to continue using it if possible but that is not a priority.
